reservation, please remember that we are making a commitment to you and
you are making one to us.
We wish to promote the best possible relationship with our guests, however experience has led us to introduce the following cancellation policies. 1. A deposit of the first night's stay is required upon reservation. Cash, checks and all major credit cards are accepted as
payment, but a valid credit card number must be on file during your
stay. If using other forms of payment besides your credit card on file,
we will authorize your card for the entire stay to insure validity of
the credit card on file. Your balance will be due upon arrival. We do,
however, reserve the right to process your reservation balance using
the credit card on file within the cancellation policy period as
described below.2. 14 Day Cancellation Policy: A refund of your deposit minus a $50.00 service charge will be made if your cancellation notice is received by us at least 14 days prior to your reservation date. If your cancellation is made within 14 days of your arrival date, then a deposit refund will be made to the extent the accommodations can be rented again over the ENTIRE reserved period minus a $50.00 service charge. 3. 30 Day Cancellation Policy: There is a 30 day Cancellation Policy for all Holidays and Premium/Special Academy weekends. If a last-minute cancellation is necessary, and we can re-rent the room, the same refund policy above applies EXCEPT the service charge is $100. No refunds for rooms not re-rented. Holidays include:
So that there are no misunderstandings, all cancellations must be in writing, preferably email. No telephone cancellations will be accepted. If you do not receive a cancellation confirmation email from us 2 days after you have contacted us, please let us know! It means your reservation is not canceled and you could be responsible for the entire reservation. 4. The full rate will be charged if guests do not arrive, arrive after the reserved date or depart before the final date of a guaranteed reservation. ![]() 5. Our check-in time is from 4:00 to 8:30 p.m. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. If you are desiring an early or late check-in, please call ahead to make arrangements. Additional room fees may be posted to your account for early check-in or late check-out. 6. Parking is available for our guests at the rear of the Inn, which is accessed through the Exeter municipal parking lot. During the winter months, overnight parking is not permitted in the front of the Inn and certain parts of the municipal lot. During the weekend, you may park behind the town offices. See your Innkeeper for parking instructions upon check in. Please understand that we do not pay for or reimburse for any parking tickets or towing fees. 7. If you are leaving early in the morning and owe a balance, please settle you account the night before. 8. We are a non-smoking facility. Smoking is not permitted on our grounds. Smoking in the inn carries a $300 cleaning fee. 9. Sorry, we cannot accept large pets. Small dogs are permitted, however, cannot be left alone in guest rooms and are not allowed to roam the inn unattended. Further, dogs are not permitted in any dining areas and must be leashed when outside the guest rooms. Dogs are only allowed in certain guest rooms. Any owner of a dog whose dog is barking excessively, in the opinion of management, will be told to remove that dog from the property after a warning is initiated. 9. Please make us aware of any allergies you might have (food or otherwise) so we can make special arrangements, if necessary. We can't make last minute adjustments for special diets. 10. Fireplaces are active October 7 - April 15. 11. Guests are responsible for theft or damage to inn property. Rooms requiring excess cleaning will have added fees assesed to the guest's bill at the sole descretion of the owner. Items, such as linens, that are soiled to the point of being unpresentable, will be charged the full replacement cost PLUS 10%. It is understood that ownership has full descretion in determining whether or not an item is deemed unpresentable. Unless brought to the attention of management, all items in our rooms are assumed to be in presentable condition upon check in. 12. Furniture that is moved from it's original location when the guest checks in and is not returned to its original spot upon check out, will be charged an additional $25. 13. Checking into the inn denotes acceptance of the above said policies. |
