Reservations and Policies

For reservations, please call us at (603) 772-6352 or click here to book online. To secure accommodations we require a deposit in the amount of one night's stay at the time of your reservation. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.


Minimum stay of two nights is required during high season weekends (May through October) as well as certain premium and holiday dates. PEA Graduation Weekend and PEA Parent’s Weekend require a minimum three night’s stay.

When making a reservation, please be aware of our Inn reservation policies.

We wish to promote the best possible relationship with our guests so we ask that you are aware of our reservation policies as outlined below:

A deposit of the first night's stay is required upon reservation.

Cash, checks, and all major credit cards are required.

14 day cancellation policy:

A refund of your deposit minus a $25.00 service charge will be processed if your cancellation notice is received a minimum of 14 days prior to your reservation date of arrival.  With less than 14 days prior to arrival,  you are responsible for payment of  the entire reserved dates, unless the room can be re-booked for your dates (which we will make every effort to do).   

30 day cancellation policy:

There is a 30-day cancellation notice required for all Holidays and Premium/Special Academy weekends.   With less than thirty days notice, the same refund policy as above applies.

Holidays:

  • New Year's Eve
  • July 4th and each day before and after
  • Labor Day Weekend
  • Columbus Day Weekend
  • Thanksgiving Day and the day after
  • Christmas Eve
  • Christmas Day

Premium/Special Academy Weekends:

  • PEA College Weekend
  • PEA Graduation Weekend
  • PEA Parents' Weekend
  • Last weekend in April
  • All weekends in May

Important!

To avoid potential human error, all cancellations must be in writing, preferably email.  Telephone cancellations can not be accepted. The full rate will be charged if guests do not arrive, arrive after the reserved date or depart before the final date of a guaranteed reservation. 

General Policies

1. Our check-in time is from 4:00 to 8:30 p.m. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. If you are desiring an early or late check-in, please call ahead to make arrangements. Additional room fees may be posted to your account for early check-in or late check-out.

2. Parking is available for our guests at the rear of the Inn, which is accessed from the Exeter municipal parking lot through the Town Employees parking lot.  During the winter months the City of Exeter has a PARKING BAN in effect.  Overnight parking is NOT permitted in front of the Inn and in certain parts of the Municipal lot.  Your car may be ticketed/ towed if you violate the Winter parking ban!  Please understand that we can not pay for or reimburse for any parking tickets or towing fees.  If you are uncertain, see your Innkeeper for parking  instructions.  During the weekend, you may park in the Town employees lot.

3. If you are leaving early in the morning and owe a balance, please settle you account the night before.

4. We are a non-smoking facility. Smoking is not permitted on our grounds. Smoking in the inn carries a $200 cleaning fee.

5. We are sorry, but we cannot accept pets.

6. Please alert us to any allergies you might have (food or otherwise) so we can make special arrangements for your safety and comfort, if necessary.  Last-minute adjustments for special diets are difficult as our breakfast menus are planned specifically for each morning.

7. Fireplaces are active October 10 - April 10.

8. Guests are responsible for theft or damage to inn property. Rooms requiring excess cleaning will have added fees assesed to the guest's bill at the sole descretion of the owner. Items, such as linens, that are soiled to the point of being unpresentable, will be charged the full replacement cost PLUS 10%. It is understood that ownership has full descretion in determining whether or not an item is deemed unpresentable. Unless brought to the attention of management, all items in our rooms are assumed to be in presentable condition upon check in.
